My Illustration background often leads me into looking for the detail and texture in subjects. I enjoy separating the colour and pattern I see in landscapes and creating an almost graphic style.

Working mainly in watercolour pen and ink gives me flexibility to explore different styles and ideas. My aim is always to try and capture and reflect the atmosphere, colour and unusual detail of the Hebrides and portray this as honestly as I can.
